On the eve of this crucial debate in Long Island, no matter if John McCain fulfills all the marching orders of his party and the MSM, I still do not think that despite all attempts to orchestrate his performance it will allow us to handicap this race. Having worked as a cold calling salesman for 20 years I learned how to listen twice and speak once. I am hearing nomenclature that never in my life I have noticed in a Presidential Election. People in the street are saying Manchurian Candidate, Sleeper Spy, "we do not know him or where he has been", The word "indoctrinated", although I do not know the context it is being used also shocks me. Additionally, a bird is now singing and in that tune may exist a heavy, defeating bit of information. Jesse Jackson is an adversary and bringing up matters that may lead to a McCain victory in Florida. The NAFTA flip flop with Canada and the numbers of Hillary supporters in Ohio who may have voted for her for a specific reason, should put McCain in the winner's circle. Virtually all of the red states he has now are certain. Ronald Reagan was down in 1980 about the same margin and won by just two points. In 1960, if just one solitary voter in each election district had changed their minds, Nixon would have won over Kennedy. This voter fraud issue may turn the election into another hanging chad. Some of the voters may be giving duplicitous answers to pollsters and surveys and exit polls during the primaries. Obama asks Americans whether we are better off now than four years ago and credits Reagan. I ask, if Obama pulls this off, are we going to be better off after January 1 with higher taxes, little drilling and spreading the wealth around. Will American voters who already have a diminished perception of Congress agree to Pelosi, Reid, Franks and Obama running the country. My argument above is that John McCain is not flamboyant, a quintessential debater or a rock star. He will keep America safe, although he has had his moments, he is clean and presidential. In the next few years I would rather not ponder emigrating to Australia for the the same reasons my ancestors came to America.
