Now I have never been to an Obama stump speech but because I watch Fox News every night, I am sure I have not missed more than one or to. Obama promises a health plan that he forgets to mention has not been signed, sealed or delivered. For all we know it is at this point ten pounds of air. I have never heard Mr. Obama even mention any potential opposition to his health care plan from the medical and pharmaceutical vertical market. Medical practices do not make the millions that they did years ago when computerization was lighter, staff was cheaper and union plans did not create a situation where a doctor can earn $30 or $40 net for a visit. How about a million dollars for malpractice insurance and legal costs and rent. Do you have an OBGYN in your area anymore or OBGYNs converted to GYNs to save\on liability? Obama has made a clear statement that he wants to spread the wealth and he has been dubbed Robin Hood. Do you think he is going to squeeze the doctors or the people that brought him in thinking that they would attain savings from Obama's proposed plan, yet to be an eventuality. I am not indicating that a doctor or a medical corporation in today's world are paupers, but if anybody is going to get theirs, my unofficial opinion is that Obama is going to grab it from the doctors and give it to the masses. The other thing is the lobbyists and pressure groups representing the medical groups and corporations are sure to carve up any plan offered by Obama should he be elected. It's funny, Obama has been spouting fire about a health care plan but I have no memory about his mentioning any opposition to it or the possibility that it might not pass for any definitive reason. Obama's base has never brought up this matter although I would expect that all of them consider Obama's proposals to be a done deal.
