Obama is promising the creation of millions of jobs and he has been on that track for years now. As a copier salesman in 1973, I made about $200/week and had the life of Riley. Today, if you make $50,000 at whatever you do, comparatively speaking you are a piker. Still in all whether you are a bus driver or a painter, I'll bet you have been doing it a few years to be at that level. So there are now apparently going be millions of jobs that in a perfect world will allow people in the inner cities and the suburbs to meet their expenses. Then there is the issue of training, and expensive proposition for a company who naturally would rather hire someone who is working the job now or in the past. I do not believe this is possible. How are four million people going to mesh right into jobs most of whom have no clue how to do the jobs in question. More importantly, show me the money. Who is getting the real deal $75,000 and up and under what circumstances? Don't you think the big companies know where their ex employees are? Word gets out fast and a great percentage of empty jobs end up with the same laid off people and their relatives. If Obama can pull this off he is a class magician and I promise not to comment negative about his gargantuan plans in the future. You just have to wonder because I meet or come into contact with so many people that just do not have the personal skills to get good, high paying jobs. Out of the four million, where do the Leno, man in the street people go?
