Barack Obama may succeed in getting some form of Government Health Plan out there but poll after poll indicates that whatever evolves will not be all encompassing. Most Americans are very nervous about the costs we will incur and the level of care that we can anticipate as already noted in Canada and England. I see a President who is not listening to the American people on Health Care We seem to be floating away from any desire to even initiate it and if not have substantial fears about the properties of the bill and how it might play out. It may start as a minor protagonist in a gargantuan final act. That is when the delayed PSA tests and following of women breast cancer victims becoming played out will begin. The widespread lessening of quality care will begin should the plan rope in at some point more and more Americans from plans that they will be forced to shift from. If Barack Obama continues in his quest to institute this unworkable plan which is essentially fueled by ideology as opposed to clear fiscal resolve I would say that we as Americans should proofread the language of this bill word by word and communicate with your representatives immediately should you become aware of any implicating provisos as far as your personal situation is concerned. I worked in local government for almost 17 years and the health plan I took with me is massively more protective than any federal government could ever possibly be. Obama keeps telling us that we can keep our plans and our doctors. I would like to see stronger assurances in the ultimate bill such as guaranteeing absent listed complications that I can continue on my plan for life as it is currently guaranteed and that I have the right to refuse any offer to move to a Federal plan excepted by for example the insolvency of my provider simply by signing it off on a offering sheet. Telling us that we can keep our plans and doctors has to be expanded and explained in order to be more specific as to telling us under what possible scenarios we could be shuttled over to the Federal plan. At that point we can have a better understanding of what we are getting into and enable us to speak more intelligently and pointedly with our representatives.
