A RISKY PROPOSITION

Most small investors are on their Iphones and laptops and usually do not get involved in puts and calls and contrarian mutual funds. I do not think Goldman would want to sell me a $2500 equity income fund and the little guy gets a $19 commission online and does not need a big firm to handle this. The American people are not stupid. The health care bill was a lock out for us but it enabled us to smell out an unacceptable modus operandi. This time I do not think that we are going to just go like lambs to the slaughter. Rather than the voters fixating on bringing down Goldman, I see resistance in spending another boatload of money to punish this firm. This will serve to increase the deficit until the the administration finds another project to tackle. We can straighten out this Wall Street question in another way that is less expensive and complicated and does not require political honchos to be bused in en masse. The American people are not going to fall for the story that ivory tower Goldman has anything to do with regular folks. Jobs, the economy, consumer debt should be the only focus of  the adminstration. To me travelling around is what it is.   Jay R
