Between Governor Patterson furloughing the workforce, the Census workers a temporary assignment soon to end and layoffs all over the country, just recently in the City of New York, do we not have to revise the job report?. This has happened before where the administration is giddy about creative numbers. I suggest a permanent panel of mathematicians and economists figure out the job report and not for political purposes. Lets us see a real report played out on a web site with all the particulars spelled out. Making the calculations by independent survey and out in the open will make a big difference and create a true value which I do not believe we are getting.
