Although Senator McCain was always the doddering old man as portrayed by the Democrats, he's looking like a fired up Sugar Ray Robinson picking apart a lightweight trying to move up in class tonight. He is sharp, very informed and way ahead on points. His apparent Senator Government quip will stick tomorrow. Also Obama was wishy washy on his associations, only one unearthed tonight so as not to seem extreme. He seemed tentative on partial birth abortion and he seemed to wince every time McCain got in a good one. Oil policy, forget it, we all know that we have to drill now big time and Obama still went environmental. Also, Obama's revelations about the NAFTA discrepancy involving Canada and a flip flop did not jive with what I remember about the situation back in the primaries. Finally,
I think John McCain showed leadership and honesty and was the clear winner.
