The New York Times Puts Out Another WC Fields Attack

October 19, 2008
Now the New York Times is practicing "The Stigma" that at it worst moments acted as a hurtful tool furthered against people with emotional problems even at such time when they evolve to being recovered individuals. The reporter even went so far as to contact one of Cindy's kids to obtain his outdated and arcane information, about a common event in most families at some point.  Do they want to get Obama elected so badly that they would stoop to these hideous tactics?. Why do they not ask the insurance companies why people with past mental or addiction issues  are excluded from acquiring life insurance policies?. What is a shame is  that individuals like Cindy McCain can only defend themselves against stigmatizers like the Times who minimize people with problems and turn their illness against them like a battering ram is to be more successful than them. This Times guy is hurling his mud from a desk while being peppered by his boss and will be probably laid off soon while Cindy strolls down Rodeo Drive and gets a Revlon makeover. Believe me, she could not care less what this Times Reporter wrote about but knowing her probably cares more about Mr. Recovered Man who after being discharged cannot get a job or life insurance or the respect of his neighbors. We have progressed so far medically and  through pharmaceuticals in America that this whole subject is becoming easier and easier to overcome. Somehow, people that experience these types of problems(millions in the USA) have a separate intellect and abilities that are even more advanced than Times reporters. Finally, absent Cindy McCain, the Times may want to have its corporate lawyers do a study with respect to The Americans With Disability Act (Under the jurisdiction of the Justice Department) as opposed to their Second Amendment Rights. You still have libel laws as well and all kinds of reasons why anybody may be challenged for inappropriate conduct toward someone who  may be impaired in a  federal determination , even in a historical or De facto sense. The public eye nuances that often create impregnable defense strategies are not always infallible.
